At the request of the plus workers, Microsoft erupted as the installer of the plus compiler.
Unlike the full studio, this installer has no obligation to put VS IDE Core and it does not include everything else that does not belong to the pluses (well, that is, to the C ++ compiler).
Through this, an attempt is made to reduce the weight of the installer and reduce the size and impact on Windows. If you really want to reduce the installer and you do not need Win10SDK, you can try to get the gig on 2.5 without shaking (and of course not installing) these large components (I did not do it myself â¦):

To install, you can disconnect from the Internet and start the installation of certificates with the command Certificates_Setup_v1.cmd or Certificates_Setup_v2.cmd
Then run VSCppCompiler_Setup0.cmd.
